I inherited a Montgomery Ward lathe, estimated to be from about 1945- in fact may have been a Navy shop lathe from Hawaii, - it was painted battleship grey over black from the looks of it.but I have no proof or evidence. Gears of war on pc. Father has Powr Kraft '14- inch motorized lathe' Model# PHS2025A, S/N 2360OBY. Need a drive belt MX 1115. It is a flat, notched belt. Any help/advise would be appreciated. 18/42 powr Kraft replaced transmission drive belt 1/2 x7515/16 now can't get motor to go forward enough to line up. What's the gouge on Powr Kraft? Equivalent to Craftsman? Or more like Thorsen?
Just curious as to if they're worth keeping. My favorite site, alloy artifacts, isn't real big on rating the tools, just giving the history..
BTW, there was one Snap-On socket, a couple of SK and a bunch of Craftsman in the box .. So the box was worthwhile I love junk boxes ..
